Bill Reid (1920 - 1998), Haida master
goldsmith, carver, sculptor, writer and
spokesman was one of Canada’s greatest
artists. In 2004, when the Bank of Canada
chose Reid’s works to adorn the $20
banknote it was clear the Haida artist had
become a national icon.
